Shhhh…there’s a pop-up Artist Market in Chaska that quietly opened up a few weeks ago and will close after Valentine’s Day.
Original and, best of all, affordable art by local artists can be found here and it’s all displayed in an easy-to-browse environment.
The perfect space was pulled together by Marcie Asao, who owns and runs the consignment store next door. The temporary mart is full of fun giftable items. It’s a great opportunity to stock up on candles (Expressive Arts), decorative spoons, bags (made from old signs, courtesy of Drive by Bags), frames, sculptures, home accents, religious items, furniture, tile art and all sorts of jewelry – from treated copper to these by BeadSpeak’s Nancy Anderson.
It can be your secret resource for one-of-a-kind, sure to please hostess, birthday and, yes, Valentine’s gifts.
Chaska Artist Market, 114100 Hundertmark Rd. (next to St. Clair Consignment), Chaska, closed on Mondays.
